Randall S. Pugh
Vice President / COO
Randall S. Pugh serves as Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Lane LifeTRANS. He is a 1977 graduate of Mineral Ridge High School and completed his EMT-Basic class in the fall of 1977 from the Mahoning County Career and Technical Center.
He began his career with Lane LifeTRANS as a part time employee until April of 1979 when he became full time. He was one of the youngest paramedics in the State of Ohio when he graduated from the Stark County Paramedic Program in 1979.
Before serving as Vice President and COO, Mr. Pugh served as a supervisor from 1983 to 1990 and as COO from 1990 to 1997. In 1997 he was promoted to his current position.
Mr. Pugh has served as an EMT instructor for the State of Ohio since 1985 and on the Joint Committee of Emergency Medical Services in Trumbull County Protocol since it was formed in 1980. He is currently the Vice Chairman of that organization.
Mr. Pugh is the Fire Chief of Weathersfield Township, a three station, 45 volunteer, paid per call department since 1999. He is also an AHA CPR instructor, NEMS 100,200,300,700,800 certified, Hazardous Material – Operations, State of Ohio Instructors Association and Ohio Ambulance Association member.
